Why Carp?

Carp are an invasive fish that have become widespread throughout the Murray–Darling Basin. In large numbers, they can damage aquatic plants, reduce water quality and disrupt the delicate balance of freshwater ecosystems. Their impacts add to the many pressures already facing Australia's rivers and wetlands.
