The problem hits home
During a houseboat trip for Mums 60th, we had a good ol' family fishing competition... unfortunately the only thing we caught the whole weekend was carp!
The backyard experiment - And a smelly sharehouse
We began catching carp, borrowing dehydrators and making dog treats at home. The dogs loved them, and so did the European wasps... ouch!
From friends and family to markets
We started sharing our carp treats with friends and family, then took them to local markets. The dogs kept coming back for more, and before long, demand grew beyond what we could make ourselves. We paused our fishing to concentrate on making something that could grow and create real change.
Bigger and better
Today, we work with local fishers and a small Australian manufacturer to bring our treats to more dogs. Weβre also establishing partnerships with environmental organisations to help restore native habitats and support the recovery of native fish.
